QUALITY ASSURANCE

ISO Certifications and the Integrated Management System (IMS)

Billnick Engineering’s operational excellence relies on its Integrated Management System (IMS), driven by dedication to three core ISO standards. This tri-certification guarantees that all specialized TSF lifecycle services—from planning and building to hydro-remining—are delivered with high quality, safety, and environmental responsibility. The ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) provides the framework for operational success and customer satisfaction, ensuring processes are standardized and quality-assured for complex projects like designing and building TSFs.

Simultaneously, the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standard lowers practical risk by implementing a strict system for hazard identification and worker health, which is necessary in the dangerous mining environment. This management system ensures all services comply with the strictest international standards, upholding the company’s core value of integrity.

GISTM and ESG: Governance for Responsible Tailings Management

Billnick Engineering is distinguished by a holistic governance framework integrating its certified systems with the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM) and broader Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. This positions Billnick as a trusted leader in responsible tailings and environmental solutions. Commitment to the GISTM serves as the highest industry benchmark, ensuring TSF projects are managed toward the goal of zero harm to people and the environment.

Billnick’s specialization in TSF management and hydro-remining demonstrates a practical ability to uphold this standard for major clients. This commitment directly drives the company's ESG performance: the E(Environmental) pillar is guaranteed by GISTM's strict safety requirements, while the S (Social) pillar is addressed by prioritizing the well-being of communities and all stakeholders. Finally, the G (Governance) pillar is solidified by the core value of Compliance, ensuring adherence to all legal and statutory obligations. This advanced, ethical framework ensures Billnick delivers solutions that exceed expectations for sustainability and responsible stewardship.
